My name is Tyler Lissy and I am currently 16 years old and I am in my Sophomore year at Notre Dame HS in Easton, Pa. This season I started at Offensive tackle/Guard for the Varsity team. As a team we went on to win the Colonial Conference and went to the finals for the Districts. The offense averaged 423 YPG and 33 PPG.
My athletic goals are to compete at the highest level where I am able to share my work ethic and leadership skills while receiving a great education.
Who is your favorite sports star and why?
My favorite sports star is Jason Witten, a tight end for the Dallas Cowboys. The reason why is because although he may not have the flashiest plays and touchdowns, he is consistent and is clutch when the team needs it most.
Why do you play football?
To me, it is the greatest team sport and a true passion of mine. It is a sport that never gets old and I love the contact and competitiveness that goes along with it.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My dad would probably never yell anything but my mom would probably yell at the other team for a late hit or saying that they need to hit softer.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My grandmother is a big supporter for me whenever I play and someone I can always hear cheering me on during the game.
