“Eli started last year at Center and LB. He is a huge asset to our OL with calling out line protections and getting everyone on the same page. Eli is a key member for our offensive line that led to our QB setting the signal season and career rushing record. On defense he had 40 tackles and 3 TFL’s.”

Why do you play football ?
I play football because I enjoy the game and I like the atmosphere of the team.
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
My favorite sports star is Micah Parsons, because of the versatility he has and because of the impact that he has on the game.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
My favorite play was my one handed catch against Tri-Valley my Sophomore year. I was playing tight end and I had the ball thrown to me on a short out route and pulled it in with one hand.
What was last year’s season like for you ?
Last year’s season was enjoyable for me for a few reasons. Firstly, my teammates were great and they made every practice and game fun. Next, we played good football and fought hard in every game. No one on the team gave up at any point along the season, which made us stronger as a whole. Finally, I switched to the offensive line during the offseason and I had to learn a new position, which was challenging but still fun.
Who is the best player you have ever lined up against ?
The best player I have ever lined up against was my own teammate Austin Hadley. Although we never went against each other in a game, we practiced against each other and he made me a better player because of it.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I would love to visit AT&T Stadium and watch the Dallas Cowboys play a game.
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
My favorite pro sports team is the Dallas Cowboys. My dad and grandfather were both Cowboys fans and I like the way that they build their team through the draft instead of testing free agency every year.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
I enjoyed watching the Tennessee-Alabama game last year. It was an amazing game and it ended with Alabama losing, which was the cherry on top for me.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
I would watch Hoosiers every day because of the way the team overcomes adversity in the movie.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I would love to score a touchdown in a game, but I would have to get a pick-6 for that to happen.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would love to play golf if I could because it is fun and relaxing.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
My most embarrassing sports moment happened during my freshman year of football. I played tight end and I wasn’t very good, but every other tight end on the team got injured during a game so I had to go in. The very first play I was in, I let a defensive end go right by me and he laid out our quarterback.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
My go to activity is playing golf with my dad, we’re not very good, but we have fun.
Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Wawa is my favorite because I enjoy the sandwiches there.
What is your favorite vacation destination ?
I like going to a quiet place like a lake for vacation because I can relax and spend time with my family without any distractions.
Favorite Band/Musician ?
My favorite band is KISS, in my opinion, their best song is Detroit Rock City.
NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
I like the NCAAF because there will never be a better thing than starting the weekend off with College Gameday and then watching football all day.
Best Video Game Console(XBox/Playstation/Sega/Atari/etc) and why ?
I like the Xbox because it is the only console I’ve ever played on.
Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
I would like to be the Valedictorian at my high school.
Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
I think a rural community is the best place to live because it is quiet and peaceful. Also, the people are friendly and are willing to help out however they can.
