Coach Says: “Robbie was an integral part of our offense lining up as an attached TE and flexed out as a WR during his junior year. He helped our run game tremendously with his perimeter blocking utilizing his large frame. He was also a receiving threat for us and was second on our team in receptions and first in receiving yards. Robbie is looking to be an impact player on both sides of the ball for us this year”.

LET’S GET TO KNOW NUALLAN

Why do you play football?

Playing football is one of the hardest but yet most rewarding sports there is. I play to not just challenge myself but to be part of something greater. My coaches always say this is a brotherhood and I can’t agree more. Stepping on the field with the guys is just an unmatched feeling. You get to go hit and smack people around legally who doesn’t love doing that.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Ray lewis is my favorite undoubtedly. The way he would go out into the field and flipped a switch to an absolute beast. He was unblock-able and his mentality was unmatched.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play of my high school career was in the 2024 season. It wasn’t at defensive end or on offense. It was actually a special teams play where I was at long snapper. I snapped the ball and sprinted down field and blew up the returner. It wasn’t so much about the play but I believe it showed my hustle and work ethic.

What was last years season like for you?

Last year’s season showed me what I was truly capable of on and off the field. I held myself to a higher standard. I had a great school year and the football season I believe went well for me. I got a full season at defensive end and developed a lot in the weight room.

What are your goals for this coming season?

My goal is to be a district championship team. This has been my goal since I stepped on to the high school level freshman year.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

I have lined up against many good athletic players. There has not been one player who stood out to me.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

My favorite game was my brother’s high school games at pen argyl when I was younger. It was what truly interested me in football.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

The perfect teammate is someone who has your back anywhere you are such as of course on the field but in school aswell. Someone who pushes you and makes you a better player and person is what I consider a perfect teammate and at pen argyl we have plenty of those kind of kids.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

Here at pen argyl everyone gathers on the hill to support us. The community thrives for Saturday afternoon games at home. We also hold ourselves as leaders in school. Football makes the whole community stronger and more united.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Not being able to step on to the collage field because someone didn’t give me a chance is a fear of mine. I know what I can do and what I am capable of. I come from a small school and the last thing I want to happen is be overlooked. I have a crazy work ethic and am ready to move to the next level but the future is uncertain so all I can do is have fun with my teammates this year.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My father is my mentor. He teaches me everything I know about being a good person. He is the person I want to grow up and be like his maturity, smartness, work ethic and his morals are everything I strive to be.

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

I don’t have a favorite or least favorite. Every drill is important in some aspect. Some boring or exiting but all have a purpose.

Preseason Two a Days are:

They are where the team really comes together and bonds. This is wear a lot of work is put in for one common goal of being a great team.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My sister is my biggest fan. She is at every game and wrestling match she can make. She always messages me and tells me how proud she is even if I didn’t do so well. She is definitely my biggest fan.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Fishing, it’s relaxing and helps me clear my head.

What is your favorite play to run?

Any play that scores is my favorite.

is a hot dog a sandwich? If not, then why?

A hot dog is not a sandwich. For it to be a sandwich it has to be two pieces of bread and a hot dog roll is joined in the middle.

Music of choice:

AC/DC always gets me pumped.

Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?

The best thing I have ever got from a teammate is a lesson. You may not be the biggest or fastest but you can have the attitude you are.

Best Pizza topping?

Pepperoni

What is your favorite vacation destination?

My favorite vacation destination is ocean city Maryland me and my family always have a great time.

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?

I believe it was a panthers cam newton game and that’s when I fell in love with the panthers and have been a loyal fan since.
