How does it feel to represent Schuylkill Haven as a student-athlete?
It feels amazing, Schuylkill Haven is the best school around and I love being able to represent that.
What is a personal goal you’d like to accomplish this season?
I want to make it to States, I believe we could go all the way.
What game are you looking forward to playing the most this upcoming season?
I’m looking forward to every game, but we have to start at Week 1 and stay focused on one game at a time.
How would you describe the atmosphere at Rotary Field for a game?
It’s amazing, we definitely have the best crowd.
How has Schuylkill Haven Football positively impacted the community?
The coaches instill core values that help us become upstanding citizens in our community.
How do you display leadership?
I display leadership on the team by being the first to go during drills and giving them 100%.
Describe “Cane Culture” in your own words:
Cane Culture is us. It’s the team, the brotherhood and the struggles we face that make up the Cane Culture.
What is the most important lesson football has taught you?
That if I work hard enough for something, I can achieve it.
How have you developed as a player from your freshman year to now as a junior?
I feel that I’ve become a more confident player and I think that my performance has increased since my freshman year.
What’s your mentality when heading into a game with tough competition?
I have to do my job, that’s what it comes down to. I need to focus on my task and execute it.
What is the team looking to improve on as a whole from last season?
All we need to do as a team is hone in to our precision when we’re running plays and we’ll be set.
Why do you wear #76?
I wear 76 because that’s the number my dad wore when he played and he’s my biggest inspiration.
You’re also a volunteer firefighter, what’s it like helping the people of Schuylkill Haven, many of which are in the stands on Friday nights?
It’s the best thing ever. The guys at the firehouse are always teaching me new things and it’s great being able to help people throughout my community.

What are your plans after high school?
I plan on attending college and hopefully playing college football.
How do you help and support young linemen coming up in the program?
I help them by sharing my knowledge and picking them up when they make mistakes.
Where do you hope to see your team at the end of the season?
I hope to see all of us with medals around our necks.
