Coach Says: All-league caliber player on both offense and defense, Blake has continued his development on defense as both a coverage defensive back and tackling ability/run support. Has shown the ability to be flexible on defense at both safety and corner as well as on offense as both an outside and slot receiver. Will also gain college recruitment attention for basketball as well.
Why do you play football?
I play football because their is nothing better to do on Friday Nights in the Fall and play in front of your city and dominate other teams physically and mentally for 48 minutes along side your friends you grew up with.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
On game-day I look forward to everything that comes with it. Pregame meal, special teams walkthrough, warmups and the actual game itself. You only get to play so many games so I take nothing for granted.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
My favorite sports star is Jalen Brunson. The way he was able to keep the Knicks composed all throughout the playoffs, put them on his back whenever other teams started to get a lead, and finish teams when the Knicks are battling in the 4th quarter is what a true sports star looks like and these traits can be carried throughout different sports.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Against a team we lost to 30-13 earlier in the season, final drive I dropping into my deep 3rd and get a game-sealing interception to send us to the district championship my Soph year.
What was last years season like for you?
I started both sides of the ball and thought I played very well overall. I was very consistent however this year I am hoping to raise the bar.

Seattle Seahawks because the Legion of Boom
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Ohio State beating ND in the National Championship. Ohio State dominated throughout the entirety of the game and stopped the ND comeback at the end.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Remember the Titans- All around amazing movie with deep lessons that everyone could use.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
“Let’s go Blake”
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Play in the NFL
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
LeBron James. Every aspect of his life he strived for greatness and achieved it. He did all this with zero blemishes on his record.
