Coach Says: Brody is tough football player with a big upside. He started at Tight End last year, has good hands, and takes pride in his blocking. He will be counted on to take on a bigger role next year and we are excited about his potential!
Why do you play football?
I play football because I love the competition, the brotherhood, and the feeling of working for something bigger than myself. It pushes me to be tougher, more disciplined, and gives me a purpose every time I step on the field.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
I’m looking forward to the energy under the lights, competing with my team, and making big plays when the moment matters most. There’s nothing better than the feeling before kickoff knowing it’s time to go to work.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
My favorite sports star is Jalen Hurts because he never gives up and always works hard no matter what people say about him. I like how he stays calm, leads his team, and always puts in the work to get better.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
One of my favorite plays was against Northwestern Lehigh right before halftime. The ball got popped up in the air and Luke Miller came down with it for a huge touchdown to keep us in the game. I remember getting a big block on the play that helped secure the score, and the energy after that play was awesome.
What was last years season like for you?
Last season was a great learning experience for me. It helped develop me for this year and for the future, both on and off the field. It also helped build a great bond with the rest of the team, and we all got a lot closer through the season.
What are your goals for this coming season?
My goals for this upcoming season are to give everything I have for the team, have a successful regular season, and win a district championship. I want to keep improving every week and do whatever it takes to help the team succeed.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
The best player I’ve ever lined up against is Aiden Zilker during practices. Competing against him helped push me and made me a better player.
When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?
When the game is on the line, I’d want Ben Johnson calling the play because of his crazy trick plays that can throw the defense off and help get us a win.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
I’d love to visit Beaver Stadium during a white out game because the atmosphere and crowd energy is insane.
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
My favorite pro team would have to be The Eagles.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My favorite game to watch was Super Bowl 59. Seeing the Eagles win their second ring was awesome.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
I’d pick Rocky because it gets me locked in and motivates me to work harder and keep pushing no matter what.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
They’re usually just rooting for me and getting loud whenever I make a play.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
I’d love to score a game winning touchdown in a huge game someday, especially in front of a packed crowd.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My mentor is probably my dad because he’s always pushed me to work hard, stay disciplined, and keep going no matter what. He’s someone I look up to both on and off the field.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I’d love to play golf because I like playing it for fun, but it’s during football season so I had to stick with the real sport.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
I’d say messing up a play in a game was pretty embarrassing.
If you could only drive one car for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I’d say my red Jeep Wrangler I have now because you really can’t beat it.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I’m usually hanging out with friends and watching whatever games are on.
What is your favorite football memory to date?
My favorite football memory was sophomore year when we scored a walk off touchdown against Notre Dame Green Pond. The energy after that play was awesome.
What is your favorite play to run?
I like to run any play whether it’s a run and I get to hit someone, or a pass where I could make a potential play.
What scares you the most?
Being late to things.
Music of choice:
Anything by Drake or Kanye or some Rock
What is the most food you ever ate in one sitting?
I’d say after a big win when I ate a whole pizza and a lot of wings
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
If I need a big meal I’m going to compass rose. I’ll be getting tacos and wings
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Any where at the beach is a good vacation spot to me.
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
The first game I was at was the 2017 Eagles vs Giants game, Eagles won.
