EPC WEEK #8 BRINGS THE CREAM TO THE TOP

PARKLAND, NORTHAMPTON, AND EMMAUS ALL QUALIFY FOR D11, 6A

Bethlehem Freedom 42 Pleasant Valley 0

Freedom behind Running back Deante Crawford and quarterback Brian Taylor route the Bears. Crawford scored 2 touchdowns.

East Stroudsburg South 44, Pocono Mountain West 8

Cavaliers lead 24-8 at halftime. 38-8 after 3 quarters and the rout was on.

Easton 26, Bethlehem Liberty 21

Easton Football has a ton of injuries, but they overcame them all and held off a tough Liberty team 26-21. Javier Johnson carried the ball 16 times for 77 yards in the contest.  Quarterback Cole Transue threw for 2 touchdowns.

Emmaus 35, Nazareth 7

A bomb scare kept all fans at home but that did not affect Emmaus as they rolled over Nazareth 35-7. Emmaus clinched a spot in the D11, 6A playoffs as they routed Nazareth. Sam Moratori ran the ball 10 times 116 yards and a TD. Josiah Williams threw the ball 19 times and completed 9 for 163 yards and a pair of TD’s.

Louis E. Dieruff 48, East Stroudsburg North 16

Dieruff won for the second time this season against a team that has struggled mightily this year. The North squad did score twice for the first time this season.

Northampton 56, Pocono Mountain East 16

Northampton had this game in control well before the half and then Everett Luis scored 2 touchdowns right before the half and led the Kids to 8-0. Clinching a 6A berth for Districts.

Parkland 35, Bethlehem Catholic 7

Parkland running back Dahlir Adams ran the ball 29 times for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead a TRojan offensive onslaught.

Stroudsburg 49, William Allen 8

The opening kick-off went the distance for the Cavaliers and they routed Allen 49-8.

Allentown Central Catholic 21, Whitehall 7

Allentown Central Catholic got back to winning ways and beat an injury-riddled Whitehall squad 21-7.

The running game produced 232 yards versus the Whitehall defense. The single-wing offense ran all over the Zephyrs. Caiden Shaffer carried the ball 20 times for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns.
