The Parkland High School RB holds 20 total D1 Offers
TJ Lawrence announced his commitment to play football at Villanova on May 21, 2026. His commitment sparked an overwhelm of excitement from family, friends, and teammates at Parkland High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The audacious RB for the Trojans, Lawrence garnered an astounding 20 Division 1 offers from schools such as Navy, Richmond, Air Force, and seven of the eight ivies, excluding Brown.
Lawrence’s varsity career began in his freshman year when he was placed as a linebacker, which he says brought him onto the varsity scene early, and allowed him to gain experience. Throughout the years to come, Lawrence became an integral part of the team quickly and helped them go from 11-3 in 2024 to 12-1 in 2025.
“The team fit overall is what really made me choose Nova. The staff and the program really stuck out to me and the way they treated me like family from the start,” says Lawrence.
Lawrence says he is most excited to work with Coach Joshua Fletcher, the running back coach once he arrives at Villanova.
