The Eagles found themselves once again in unknown territory traveling to Shickshinny to take on the Rangers, however, they came away with that familiar winning feeling, topping the Rangers 47-20
The ball was tossed between both teams for most of the first quarter until LM quarterback Jacob Feese took the ball in for a 48 yard touchdown run bringing the Eagles to a 6-0 lead. Northwest Area followed up with a touchdown and a good extra point kick taking the Rangers to a 7-6 lead finishing out the 1st quarter.

It wasn’t long after the second quarter started for Jacob Feese to keep the ball and run in for his second touchdown of the night. Boyers kick is good and brings the score to 14-7. Beau Keim and Garret Laudenslager chipped in with runs, moving the ball closer to the end zone and giving Feese the opportunity to get two more touchdowns before the half.
LM went into the second half ahead of Northwest Area 33-7 but the Rangers came out fighting after halftime. Less than a minute into the 3rd quarter, Northwest Area was within 15 yards of scoring. Their fight didn’t last too long though because they fumbled the ball.
Line Mountain senior and defensive linebacker, Dominick Bridi scooped up the ball and ran it 87 yards for another line Mountain touchdown. Brayden Boyer’s kick is good giving Line Mountain a 40-7 lead.
Northwest Area tried to come back with another touchdown, but Line Mountain answered back with a touchdown of their own. Laudenslager ran the ball in and scored his second touchdown of the night. Boyer’s kick is good once again and the score is now LM 47, Northwest Area 14.
