Once the Eagles got on the scoreboard it didn’t stop. Seniors Jacob Feese and Garret Laudenslager along with junior Beau Keim started off the second drive of the night with runs giving them first downs and driving the Eagles closer to the end zone. Feese with a keeper brought in the Eagles first touchdown of the night and Boyers kick gave LM the first score of the night.

UDA snuck in a touchdown and a two point conversion to give the Trojans the lead. This was the only lead UDA would have all night. Two more pitches to Laudenslager brought the Eagles to the 10 yard line. Feese keeping the ball once again and running it in for the Eagles second touchdown and Feese‘s second touchdown of the night.

Freshman Nolan Baumert attempted a 2 point conversion but got stopped just short of the goal making the score LM 13 UDA 8. UDA didn’t have the ball long before Dominick Bridi dove in and caused a fumble for the Trojans. Senior Cameron Smeltz, grabs the ball and runs it in for another Line Mountain touchdown. Conversion attempt was no good but the Eagles went into halftime leading the Trojans 19-8.

The Eagles came charging on to the field ready to start the second half. It didn’t take long for LM to score. Baumerts return started the Eagles off at the 25 yard line. Feese’s completed  pass to Aidan Herb brought the Eagles in UDA territory. Back to back handoffs to Laudenslager brought  Laudenslager‘s second touchdown of the night. Brayden Boyers good kick brought the score to LM 26 UDA 8.

UDA got on the board again with a touchdown and 2 point conversion with the score now being LM 26 UDA 16. Freshman Connor Finlan got the return at the 23 yard line. Feese had the next three runs and brought in another touchdown for the Eagles. Boyers kick missed and leaving the score Line Mountain 32 UDA 16. The Cardinals tried to get on the board again but  Finlan blocked a pass on the 4th down and got the ball back to Eagles. Feese’s handoff to Laudenslager gave the 6’3” senior a chance to show his speed and strength. Running through a group of Trojans, Laudenslager took the ball in for a 65 yard touchdown. Boyer’s kick brought the Eagles to a 39-16 lead. As quick as the Trojans were getting the ball, the Eagles were taking it right back.

Senior Tyler Bradley intercepted the ball in the UDA end zone for  a touchback for the Eagles. Starting at the 20 yard line the Eagles only needed a few runs to bring in another score. Feese with a keeper and Laudenslager with two runs bring in another Eagles touchdown. Boyer’s kick is good making the score LM 46 UDA 16.

As soon as the Trojans got the ball it was intercepted by Line Mountains Connor Finlan. Line Mountain turned the ball over on downs to UDA with under 3 minutes left in the game. UDA puts up one more touchdown for the Trojans but it’s still not enough to catch the Eagles.

Garret Laudenslager and Jacob Feese finished the game for Line Mountain scoring 3 touchdowns each and collecting just under 400 yards between the two of them.
