EASTON- In the preseason, the Parkland Trojans were considered contenders for the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference South title however, after four weeks into season they were sitting at 2-2 after a 44-7 debacle at the hands of Bethlehem Catholic on September 14th.
Injuries decimated the team and the season looked as if it was in peril. Slowly, the Trojans started to get healthy and put together a four game winning streak outscoring their opponents by an average margin of 38-13.
Friday night at a packed Cottingham Stadium, Parkland was at full strength and showcased that talent in a dominating the Red Rovers of Easton 27-9 keeping those title hopes alive. Easton lost their third straight game after starting the season 6-0.
