What a difference a week can make. Last week the Vikings survived a high scoring shoot out against Mahanoy Area. This week, they got very few points and needed them all to get the win against the Colts of Marian Catholic with a final score of 13-6. The Colts struck first on a short td run by Brandon Klitsch to make it a

6-0 lead midway through the first quarter. Williams Valley responded when Kian Krzyzanowski took the reverse and scampered 25 yards for the score. Sage Smeltz put the winning point through making it 7-6 just before the second quarter.

Alex Achenbach, who ran for 229 yards, scored the only points of the second half as the Viking defense kept Marian out of the endzone the rest of the game.
