Why do you play football?

I play football because it excites me as a challenging opportunity that can lead me to higher levels of developing not only physically, but also mentally and gain an understanding of what the science behind the sport really is. I love to win and that is all I aim for is to win but it is not done alone, it is done as a team from the practice fields to the locker room, as well as in the classroom. Football is a passion sport which I know I have, and I love every minute of it and I look forward to growing more in it to make me more of the student-athlete I am becoming.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

I participated in an All-Texas All-Star Championship game that took place in AT&T Stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play, and I scored a 95-yard touchdown and ran up the middle across that field and it felt incredible.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Marshawn Lynch – his character relates to mine a lot; He is quiet and just gets the job done; no crazy hype and has nothing to prove to anyone. He comes from the hood and knows what it was like and shares his thoughts on not taking advantage of opportunities and make sure to be smart about every step you take.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

My mom is my biggest fan. She is the core of what has developed me and my family; my dad is a huge support to that, but my mom will be the loudest one in the stands with her cowbell!

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

To be honest my dad; although I may be rough around the edges; has trained me and shown me a lot since he played before in the league as well as has coached many. He is tough and I know he is and I am thankful for it each and every moment even though at times I may not like it.

What is your desired major in college?

Engineering of some sort; possible mechanical since I like to build things and tend to have a creative mind. But who knows it may change to another type?

How has COVID-19 affected you?

Honestly, thankfully have not been affected health-wise, but it has delayed my freshman year and limited me to do the thing I wanted to do; We had a freshman season, and it was great but if it were normal I would have been on varsity and thing would have been even better.

Favorite play to run?

Running a 95-yard touchdown at AT&T Stadium for an All-State All-Star Bowl.

What is your personal goal for this season?

To run over 1 thousand yards for the season.

Favorite pre-game meal?

Almond butter, protein powder, and a banana.

Sports movie?

Remember the Titans!

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Ice Hockey.

Most embarrassing sports moment?

Played a tournament game in Dallas and the first play of the game on kick off the opposing player sucker punched me in the stomach causing me to fall and catch my breath; was not expecting it but it opened my eyes to not letting it happen again.

What are you looking forward to most this year?

Building leadership on the team and going and winning a state title!

Favorite activities?

Family time; PS5; playing with my brothers; meeting new friends and eating good food!
