IMG Academy has become a household name in high school sports. As one of the greatest Football programs in high school football history, IMG gets held to high expectations every year, and being ranked number three nationally, the expectations are not any easier. Last fall, IMG finished their season ranked number five in the nation with a record of 8-1. Their only loss came at the beginning of the year to Central Florida losing 20-14. After their six-point loss, they won eight straight outscoring teams 434-61. The biggest win of their season came in their second-to-last game when they beat West Toronto Prep 96-0 at halftime. Losing Key Players in Samuel M’Premba (WR), Carnell Tate (WR), Francis Mauigoa (OT), Desmond Ricks (CB), Gabriel Harris (SDE), Jordan Hall (ILB), Jayden Wayne (SDE), and Riley Williams (TE), IMG had few holes to fill.

The Prep, everyone who has played football in Pennsylvania has heard of St. Joe’s Prep. Ranked seven spots lower than IMG at ten, Prep has a chip on their shoulder. Last Fall Prep went 12-1 with their only loss coming at the beginning of the year to St. Thomas Aquinas losing 48-37. With their star corner Omillio Agard being unavailable due to injury, St. Thomas attacked the backup corner. Prep went on to win twelve straight and outscore their opponents 477-133 with the biggest win coming against Northeast in the PCL championship where Prep won 49-6. SJP did not lose many players with most of their starters being class of 24′ or 25′. The biggest loss comes at the linebacker position losing Josiah Trotter as he continues his football career at WVU.
