Lansdale Catholic Announces Dominic D’Addona As Varsity Football Head Coach

hiring of Mr. Dominic D’Addona as the school’s new Varsity Football Head Coach.
Mr. D’Addona comes to LC with over 25 years of coaching experience at the high school and
collegiate levels, most recently serving on the staff of La Salle College High School since 2001.
He was part of a La Salle staff, which led the Explorers to the 2009 PIAA Class AAAA State
Championship. His experience also includes coaching stints at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High
School, Delaware Valley University, and Ursinus College. Mr. D’Addona has coached on both
sides of the ball and has also been instrumental in establishing the off-season Strength and
Conditioning program at La Salle.
Lansdale Catholic Athletic Director Rob Nydick states “Coach D’Addona is going to continue to
build on the proud tradition of LC Football. He has been involved with the Philadelphia Catholic
League for a large portion of his career and knows what it takes to succeed. He is a proven
leader on and off the field and has impacted many student-athletes in a positive way over the
years. We are excited to welcome Coach D’Addona to LC and look forward to getting started in
our preparations for 2019 season.”
Lansdale Catholic is a secondary school of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is accredited by
the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The last several graduating classes from
LC have received over $180 million in scholarships and grants. These graduating classes
consistently scored in the top percent of SAT’s. The school serves a student population of 665
that reside in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, 18 school districts and 22 parish communities.
