I was not able to attain the roster for Frankford, so I will be using their numbers instead of their names. I want to thank the player from Martin Luther King who gave me their updated roster. Anyone reading this that has the name to go with the Frankford players numbers send them to me on Twitter and I will edit the article.

My third game of the weekend saw me drive a total of 1,043.9 miles took me to the Germantown Super Site in Philadelphia, Pa to see Martin Luther King battle Frankford. As I watched MLK warm-up I keyed on the quarterback and his receivers. At first, I thought this team would have to run the ball to win but after Larmir Kitchens warm-up I said that kid is going to be a gigantic problem for Frankford. I also felt that the lines were going to match up well against each other even with Matthew Pajuste being a Buffalo commit.

The King defense raised to the challenge to make the first big play of the game and that came when Zaide Williams threw #2 down for a loss of 4-yards. Number two for Frankford shook off the loss by picking up 21-yards on his next carry and did so by breaking a tackle then using a Carlos Snow like move. The drive dried up from there thanks to some nice work by the King defense.

With a little under four minutes left in the quarter Kitchens showed his football smarts by avoiding a tackler or two then after trying to find a receiver opened he tucked the ball and picked up 11-yards, on third and eleven to move the chains. Shamir Norton would go to his left to pick up 20-yards. Kitchens would connect with Karon Ballard for a 6-yard touchdown at the 1:20 mark, A bad snap on the P.A.T. caused Ballard to try and run the ball in but he was stopped short leaving this a 6-0 game.

The King defense would end the quarter with Dantae Green sacking #1. Green, Kitchens, and Ballard made their mark in that quarter and each would end up having in my eyes very solid games. That trio would see another player emerge as game changers a short time later.

Kitchens would find Ballard for a nice 33-yard gain with 8:3 left in the half. The drive, which consisted of 11-plays and total of 75-yards ended with a 2-yard score from Kitchens. Another bad snap on the PAT kept this a 12-0 game, with 5:22 left. At this point, Frankford showed what kind of team they are going to be by putting together a 5-play, 62-yard scoring drive. #25 had a very good run to set up his own 9-yard score. That kid runs hard at you like you were the bully in the lunchroom that took his money when he was a young kid. The P.A.T. from #19 would make this a 12-7 game, with a little under four minutes left in the half.

The last 1:32 of the half would see Kitchens and Ballard hooking up a 31-yard gain but a fumble inside the one on what looked like a miscommunication between Kitchens and his back. #23 for Frankford recovered the ball on his own 5-yard-line. #1 for Frankford would end the half with a 41-yard run.

Curtis Brooks would hammer #25 from Frankford causing an incompletion. The hit from Brooks took me back to the

Jack, The Assassin Tatum days. Kitchens would find the fourth player, who I referred to earlier as being a game-changer and that would be Isaiah Rogers for a 15-yard touchdown. The P.A.T. was short leaving this an 18-7 game, with 9:25 left in the third quarter.

Rogers would pick off a pass by #1 in the endzone to kill another Frankford drive. Big #79 for Frankford hammered Devonne Grey for a short loss at the 5:37 mark. The Frankford defense would get another nice play when #19 sacked the elusive Kitchens for a loss of 12-yards. The last big play of the third quarter came on a Kitchens to Rogers pass that netted 22-yards.

The Kitchens to Rogers combo struck again for a 20-yard gain not even two minutes into the final frame. Then with 8:49 left in this one Kitchens threw a strike to Yedidiyah Ward-Jackson for a 7-yard score making this a 24-7 game. Frankford used a 23-yard run by #2 to help set up an 8-yard run from #1 after the P.A.T. from #19 we had ourselves a 24-14 game, with 7:00 left.

Kitchens threw another strike to Ballard fr a gain of 40-yards to set up a 2-yard run by Andre Staley, who also converted the two-point conversion run to make this a 32-14 game. Staley, just a Sophomore is going to have a very bright future if he elected to do the hard work required to do so. The teams would exchange turnovers in a matter of six seconds. Zaide Williams would get a pick for King then #14 for Frankford recovered a King fumble. The final score, the fourth touchdown of the fourth quarter came when #2 from Frankford eased in from 2-yards out. The PA.T. gave us our final score of 32-21.

I understand my articles are a bit long but my goal when I started doing this years ago was to get as many players names in them as possible. After all, the articles are number one for them, their fans, and the coaching staff. I also do the pictures for the same reasons. Yes, it requires a lot of work but this is my way of paying your game back for all of the good times they give me.
