Why do you play football?

Jake: I love the game.

Who is your favorite sports star and why?

Jake: J.J. Watt because he is a great athlete while being an active part of his community, which is something I’m very passionate about.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

Jake: My Sophomore year I went in at tight end and had a touchdown come right off my block. It was my first sense of varsity football accomplishment.

What are your goals for this coming season?

Jake: My goals are to be the best teammate I can be and win a district championship.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Jake: New York Giants

What game, yours, college, or pro, was your favorite game, and why?

Jake: My first varsity playoff game. We dominated as a team and it reminded me how much joy the game brings to me.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Jake: Friday Night Lights

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

Jake: Something motivational.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like?

Jake: My parents.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Jake: Track & Field

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

Jake: I was knocked out in a game and my team watched it in film study.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

Jake: My sister. She’s my biggest fan no matter what I do.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go-to activity, and why?

Jake: Volunteering, I am the president of a local youth organization that volunteers in my community and it’s a great time.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Jake: Getting pulled up to the varsity team as a Freshman.

What is your favorite play to run?

Jake: A toss. It gives me the opportunity to run upfield and make a big hit.

What scares you the most?

Jake: Snakes

Music of choice:

Jake: Country or Indie rock.

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?

Jake: Hess truck and race cars. I really like anything involving speed.

What restaurant is your go-to when you need a big meal?

Jake: Olive Garden

Which one? Sheetz or Wawa?

Jake: Sheetz obviously.
