Why do you play football?

Jason: When I was younger I was always a bigger kid so my parents thought it might be a good idea to try it out and ever since then I fell in love with it and it’s something I’m very passionate about.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

Jason: I’d have to say my freshman year, you know it’s tough to walk in your freshman year on a varsity team and you don’t feel comfortable and stuff but the group of guys I played with just the whole season they were able to welcome me right away. I had a lot of fun with them and made history going 10-0. Specifically, probably winning our 10th game to go undefeated in the regular season was my favorite part of my football career.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Jason: Aaron Donald, he’s a very good defensive player and speaks a lot of his stories and I think it’s great how far he’s come.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

Jason: My parents, my mom just because their my family and they are always there to support me and no matter what have my back in a situation.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

Jason: My grandfather, he was huge into sports mainly wrestling but it carries into football. He’s always pushing me to be my best and do my best, anytime something falls he never brings me down he tries to pick me up. Just him as a person he’s a great person and I look up to him the most.

What is your desired major in college?

Jason: I’m stuck between criminal justice and something along sports management or Kinesiology.

What are some team goals for this upcoming season?

Jason: We play a big game week one, we play Pine-Richland so I’d say a big goal would be to beat them. All three years of my career we’ve made it to week 13 and lost to State College, So one of my goals for the team would be to make it past week 13 because we haven’t been able to do it yet and I believe if we make it to week 14 we would be the first team in Delaware Valley history to be able to do it for football.

How has COVID-19 affected you?

Jason: it’s affected everyone the same id say but all the weight rooms and gyms being shut down kinda took a toll on a lot of people especially me. I just try and stay positive through it all. It is obviously a different world now and cope with it and do as much as I can with what I’ve been provided with.

Favorite play to run?

Jason: On offense either wheel or waggle. On defense any blitz

What is your personal goal for this season?

Jason: Be all-state again and get 200 tackles, it might seem a little out of reach but that’s what I’ve been taught to do, make unrealistic goals because if you fall short they will be higher than others.

Favorite pre-game meal?

Jason: Subway

Sports movie?

Jason: When the Game Stands Tall

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Jason: Water Polo

Favorite activities?

Jason: Fishing, hiking, hanging out with friends, and playing basketball.
