Why do you play football?

I love the competitive nature and physicality. My family are all huge football fans so I have been playing since I was 5. Nothing beats playing football under the Friday Night Lights in a big game!

Who is your favorite sports star and why?

Currently, I have to go with Adam Thielen. He is a slot WR that runs great routes. I also admire that he put in the hard work to make it from Division 2 football in college and is now a top WR in the NFL.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

We trailed Berwick by 14 in the 2nd half of the first meeting with them last year. We battled back to tie the game and with 3 minutes or so left our QB Janaasah Boone hit Jordan Conserette with a short pass and I was able to get a chip block that took out 2 defenders and Jordan went 38 yards for the game-winning TD! It’s always nice to get a big block as a WR.

what are your goals for this coming season?

My personal goal is to be a starter on both sides of the ball and contribute on special teams. My goal for our team is to win the Lackawanna League Division 2 and the PIAA District 2 Class 4A Championships.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Philadelphia Eagles

What game, yours, college, or pro, was your favorite game, and why?

Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl win over New England. My family are all huge Eagles fans and it was great to see them get a Lombardi Trophy. The parade was great too. 

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

My mother always yells “Go, Sean”. I don’t get to hear my father since he is in the booth broadcasting our games. But I get to listen to the archive of the broadcasts and hear him critique my play whether good or bad.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Golf. I am amazed at how good some of those tour guys are. I just started to play and I have a long way to go to be even half-decent.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My older brother Matthew. He is a rising Senior TE at St. John Fisher College. I have always looked up to him and now it’s nice to have him push me and cheer me on. He is always willing to help me improve as a person and a player.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go-to activity, and why?

Video games & music. Just to take my mind off school and sports.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Last year we played Berwick in week 6 when both of us were undefeated. It was a packed house with a great atmosphere and we came from behind to win 35-28.

What is your favorite play to run?

Bob fly right pepper slant. I get to run a slant route usually against 1 on 1 coverage.

Music of choice?

Juice Wrld. Too bad he died so young.

What restaurant is your go-to when you need a big meal?

Cafe Colarusso in Jessup. Great Italian food!
