What is the best part about playing football?

The best part I like about football is that it’s a team sport that gives you an opportunity to accomplish something greater than yourself.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

Best memory has to be my first touchdown drive in the Honesdale game last year. It was a great feeling to score especially knowing that I was a part of it.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

My favorite pro athlete is Tristan Wirfs because coming out of college he started in the NFL. Which reminds me of how I moved schools and went from backup JV to starting Varsity from hard work.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

I lookup to a lot of people including my mom, coaches, and teammates. They all are very helpful whenever I’m stuck on something or don’t know what to do. They always have my back and are always teaching me life lessons.

What would be your desired major in college?

I’m not too sure yet but as of right now I’m looking towards Business or going into coaching and helping out kids like me that didn’t know the process going into high school.

Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?

I think this year will be the best one in a long time. We overcame a lot of the problems from last year and now we’re going into this year with a strong offensive line and weapons for our quarterback to pass to. No matter what we without a doubt are winning the Bell Game and having a positive record.

Favorite play to run?

I really like any type of run play. Whether it’s stretch or power I like being able to fire out at a guy and clear a path for the running back. Any pulling plays like counter I like a lot too.

Favorite pre-game meal?

I usually don’t eat before the game, I have breakfast in the morning like eggs or pancakes. Maybe a snack in the afternoon. But I give all I have on the field, so the last thing I want is to feel sick or weighted down by eating.

Favorite sports movie?

I really like The Blind Side because it shows someone that didn’t grow up in a sports family be able to put in the work and succeed.

Favorite activity you do during the off season?

I really like field work, going up to the field and doing pass sets and working on my weaknesses. It’s a lot of fun working with the team and without field work I don’t think I’d be at the level I’m at.

Other than your home stadium/field, what stadium/field would you rate the best?

I didn’t see many stadiums last year but the top two would be Valley View and Western Wayne. Both games they had a lot of people there and that’s when it kicked in for me last year that I’m playing varsity.

Most embarrassing sports moment?

Last year one snap when I dropped back into pass coverage and the tight end took my assignment so I was left with no one to block. Ended up just hitting my assignment from the side anyways.

College Offers… If so, by what schools ?

No offers yet but there’s a long list of D1 schools that are watching me this year.

What are you looking forward to most this year?

Winning the Bell Game and being able to prove myself to every college watching me.
