Why do you play football?
I play football because the game is unique in so many ways. It teaches life lessons that no other sport can teach. Not one sport, other than football, needs every single person on the field or court to have a successful functioning team. Football allows me to build life long relationships as well as give me an outlet. Football is more than just a game, it is a lifestyle and I feel terrible for those who don’t get to experience the game because they are truly missing out on the greatest sport of all time.

Who is your favorite sports star and why?
I would have to say Kobe Bryant. Kobe’s mentality i can relate to so well. He preaches hard work and loving the journey. His stories and stories of him about how he was the first guy on the court and last one off for practice is inspiring. His mentality has truly motivated me. He is the definition of hard work which I can relate to very well. The sole reason I am having some great opportunities in my life is because of my drive and hard work. Kobe may not have been as good as Michael Jordan or Bill Russel or Steph Curry but none of these guys would outwork him and that gives me something to relate too.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My favorite play this season was probably the first play on my highlight reel when I hit the quarterback and caused fumble against Wallenpaupack High School. I will always remember it because i felt the power and physicality behind my hit and it boosted the momentum for me and my team tremendously.

What are your goals for this coming season?
To be a great leader for the team. We have such great ability as a team and just need to gel together and having great culture. My goal personally on the field is to be more physical and dominant blocking and defensively than I was last year and hopefully when I get the opportunity to go out on routes to improve in my route running as well.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
The Milwaukee Bucks

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game and why?
My favorite game was against Wallenpaupack High School because we beat them pretty good and I was able to be involved in the receiving game. The team had such great energy.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Rocky IV because it is very inspiring and always gives me the chills when I watch it. It makes me want to go out on the football field and give everything I have.

What cartoon character do you think your head coach most resembles.
Probably SpongeBob. As many true SpongeBob fans would know he is not just a goofball. He is a blue collared, tough, hardworking individual who can lead but also be funny and goof around when the time is necessary. He cares deeply about his friends and always puts others before himself.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
Mom will usually scream “tackle him” on defense and “run” on offense so somewhat typical. Dad will usually say “atta boy” when I make a good play or “ughhh shoulda had that one/made that play” when I don’t make a play.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
I would love to run a Tight End pitch pass sort of thing where I could throw the ball to a receiver down field

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
There are multiple people I could put in this spot but my dad is my number one. My dad was a blue chip prospect in highschool and had the chance to play football at many good schools across the country and always preached hard work to me. He has taught me so many life lessons not only through his words but through his actions. He teaches me through his own actions to put others first always, to always lend a helping hand, and how to be a leader.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Golf or basketball. I don’t play golf because of football and I don’t play basketball because of wrestling. Both which I enjoy more than golf and basketball however I would love to play those as well.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
When I lined up on the wrong side of the ball and coach screamed at me but we still had a successful play.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My grandparents. They support me in everything I do and have taught me life lessons just like my parents have. They always are interested in the team and it’s success and are always there for me whenever I need anything.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I will usually go fishing, quad riding, read, or play video games. I enjoy all these activities as they are either relaxing or fun.

What is your favorite football memory to date?
Winning the district championship last year. For whatever reason it hit me different and was very emotional.

What is your favorite play to run?
My favorite run play is Tight End trap where I can trap the D-Tackle. My favorite pass play is any play I can run at a wide receiver position.

What scares you the most?
Being in a world/society where everyone is selfish

Music of choice:
All music ranging from 50s Jazz to Country to Pop to Rap

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
My grandmas house

Which one? Sheetz or Wawa
Sheetz 100%

What is your favorite vacation destination?
Our lake house in Lake Lure North Carolina
