Why do you play football?

I play football because it’s something you can do and just be you. Being the quarterback and being able to help your team take control of a game or being on defense and being able to run around and go, tackle kids, is so fun.

What has been your best memory?

My best memory was the 2020-21 football season. That year we ended up winning the district and it was the first time Lakeland has done it in a long time.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

My biggest fan is my family. My mother who always takes care of me and deals with me when I had a good game and a bad game. My dad was really my first and best coach. He helped me and continues to help me throughout high school with not only football but how to be a leader. And my three brothers will always tell me if I played bad and push me to try and be the best I can.

Who is your biggest role model?

My biggest role model has to be Russel Wilson. Over the past couple of years, he’s been my favorite player and I have watched so many YouTube videos of him doing drills.

What is your desired major in college?

Right now I am undecided and trying to find a major that I would like.

In your opinion, where is the toughest place to play?

I think the toughest place to play is our stadium. The type of weather and winds we could get and how loud our fans could be, I think is on a different level.

What is your personal goal for this year?

My personal goal this year is to just be better than last year. Try to contribute to the team more whether it’s having more passing or rushing yards, more touchdowns, or being an overall better leader and person my team can look up to.

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

A hot dog is not a sandwich.

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

I would love to play basketball just because I feel like it would be so much fun even though I’m not the best at it.

Most embarrassing sports moment?

My most embarrassing sports moment was when I was on C-Team in the championship game against Valley-View. I spiked the ball on 4th down because I thought it was 3rd down to try and stop the clock and then we ended up losing.
