WORDS FROM THE HEAD COACH:
Caden is the workhorse of our offense and will be our primary RB. He emerged near the end of last season and has only improved his strength and speed. Caden is also a very smart student athlete sporting a 4.0 GPA. Caden dedicated himself to the off-season workouts and should see all that hard work pay off.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Lakeland High School ?
As a student athlete at Lakeland, I am challenged everyday to excel in the classroom as well as on the field. I love the fact that it is a small school and we live in such a great community.
How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
5 years
Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
I would have to say at Dunmore when I was a Freshman. We had a playoff game there and the excitement of the game and the crowd was very thrilling.
If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain
It really depends on the situation and whatever I can do to best help the team.
As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Honestly my greatest achievement has been earning the trust and respect of my coaches and teammates that allows me the opportunity to play with them together as a team.
What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
The high point for me was in the Dunmore game, I with the help of my teammates, was able to rush for over 100 yards.
What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
Every year I always miss the graduating seniors. We form a bond during the season and I always learn something from each of them.
What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
My goal this year is do my absolute best for my coaches and teammates. Along with doing that, I am also striving to rush for over 1000 yards.
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
My favorite sports star will always be my Dad. He was a running back at Mid Valley and I’m excited to follow in his footsteps.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
My favorite play is called Ace. The play could be ran either right or left in which there was me, the running back, and a fullback in the I formation. We had a lot of success with this play and it’s a lot of fun to run.
Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
It’s really hard to single out just one player or team because there are so many excellent athletes in this area.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I always love visiting Penn State stadium. It’s my favorite football atmosphere. There is nothing like it.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
The Blind Side, I loved this movie because it displays resilience and perseverance.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Kicking a field goal to win the game. Not sure if I could do that but it would be fun.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would love to play soccer again if it wasn’t during football season. I used to play when I was younger and it was extremely fun.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
When I’m not practicing or training, I love spending time with my family and friends. It’s great to hang out with my friends and just chill.
Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, but I love going to Wawa down at the shore.
What is your favorite vacation destination ?
I love going to the beach. My family and our family friends go to the same beach spot in New Jersey every year.
Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
I actually have a fear of heights but I do love crazy roller coasters.
Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
Five Guys burgers are the best! My favorite are the bacon cheeseburgers.
Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
I have been to a couple Philadelphia Eagles games, NY Giants and a Golden State Warriors game.
What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Plain cheese.
Favorite School Subject ?
All Science classes.

Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
I would love to graduate from college and possibly go to Med School.
