87th Annual Dream Game Rosters Announced

Last year the game was cancelled, but this year Co-Chair Bill Dempsey says right now we are full speed ahead! This year there will be a new twist to this game.  The Lions Club Dream Game is the oldest All Star game in the country. The second oldest is the Save an Eye game in Erie, which will be celebrating their 83rd game this year. Dempsey says each committee will send representatives to the others game.

“We got together last year and kept in touch while planning our games basically to see if either would have been played. Obviously that didn’t happen, however, we figured since we are the two oldest games we should do some kind of collaboration. So this year a few of us will travel to Erie for their game and for our game they’ll be sending representatives to present a jersey” said Dempsey. The City leads the series, 42-39-4

Coaches for this year’s game are David Piwowarczyk, Lakeland and Terry Gallagher, Scranton Prep
