Here are the teams from District 2 who have made it to the PIAA title game and their overall record in the championships.

District 2 was strong in the early years of the state playoffs, especially with Berwick in Triple-A and several schools in Double-A. More recently, the district has had success in getting to the Single-A title game but has come up empty three times in the last four seasons.
District 2 title game facts:
- Berwick is tied with the most state titles with Southern Columbia (6).
- District 2 teams won three out of four Class AA championships in the early 90s but haven’t won one since.
- District 2 teams have never been in Quad-A championship game and have not been in the Triple-A title game since 1997, the last time a D-2 team won a title. (Berwick)
