The Defense is led by Sophomore Carter Troxell with 71 tackles and 5 picks and has taken one back to the house. Kaeden Weaver has 2.5 sacks on the season. The defense is allowing 23 points/game, but in the playoffs The Zephs only gave up 14 to Pleasant Valley and 17 to Southern Lehigh.

DELAWARE VALLEY(7-5) Coach Keith Olsommer 24th Season 174-98 Record.

Del Val Started off their season aggressively with games with Mosely of Florida and then 2 teams that are also in the playoffs Harrisburg and Downingtown East. Though losing those three games really prepared the Warriors for the remainder of the season only losing two LIAA games to Scranton Prep and Abington Heights. The Warriors defeated Scranton last week 24-21. Quarterback Tyler Bird has thrown for 1,049 yards on 71 of 151 passing with 7 touchdowns but 10 picks. RB Paulie Weinrich leads the ground atack with 1,175 yards on 187 carries and 15 touchdowns. WR Jayden Ramirez has caught 36 passes and attained 479 yards and four touchdowns. The offense is averaging 27 points/game. The defense is led by Justin Kalitsnik with 11 tackles per game. DE Aiden Black has six sacks for the Warriors. DB Ryder Macado leads the team in interceptions with 6, Jackson Corrie is only two behind with four picks. The defense does give up 20 points per game as well.

WHAT’S AT STAKE: The winner will face the winner of Roman Catholic/Imhotep Charter contest who play Saturday at Northeast Supersite at 4PM.

HOLLYWOOD’S TAKE: This could be a high scoring game as both teams have potent offenses, with solid running game with Linton and Weinrich. I give edge in passing to the Zephyrs and it is also a home game for them as well, expect Whitehall to advance by a touchdown.
