There’s so many things I enjoy about High School Football. The atmosphere and the performance of the players. I’ve seen some impressive performances at games I’ve seen this season. Some were of the team’s performance and sometimes it was a particular player. It goes to show you that you can expect the unexpected in sports. With three weeks left plus playoffs, it’s almost expected to see a few more impressive performances, whether it’s from a team or a player. With all this being said, let’s get into the games from the WVC!!!

Hanover Area at Wyoming Area

Hanover Area is coming off a victory over Holy Redeemer. Wyoming Area is coming off a victory over Lake-Lehman. Hawkeyes  RB Jeremy Vega ran for 241 yards and four touchdowns in their win against Holy Redeemer. Warriors RB Leo Haros rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns in their victory over Lake-Lehman. Despite their win, Hanover Area sees themselves out of a playoff spot as the 9th place team in the District 2 3A standings. Wyoming Area is currently the top seed in the District 2 3A standings and have clinched a playoff spot. The Warriors look to be the heavy favorite in this matchup and looking to seal up the number one seed while the Hawkeyes are looking for the upset.

Prediction: Wyoming Area 35 Hanover Area 7
