Quarterback Steven Jervis doesn’t get to throw the ball much, so when his number gets called he has to deliver. He delivered in a big way tonight throwing for a touchdown and making big throws to help Trail to a 46-21 victory over the Bucks.

The Bucks would go three and out on their first drive punting the ball to the Lions at the 50-yard line where they would go to work. It just took 3 plays for the Lions to find the endzone as Steven Jervis hit Lukas Gumble on a 44-yard pass that set up a Stevin Jervis touchdown run just three minutes and thirty seconds into the game.

The fast start would continue as just four minutes later the Lions would find the endzone again to go up 12-0 when a 40-yard Lukas Gumble run set up Hunter Patterson for a 1-yard touchdown run to give the Lions a two-possession lead.

The Lions would march downfield to end the first quarter and add their third score of the game just a minute into the second quarter when on a fourth and fourteenth Steven Jervis would connect with runningback Demetrius Douglas from 34 yards to give the Lions a 21-0 lead with 11 minutes left in the half.

A 20-yard punt return by Issac Ryon would set up the Lion’s score just 5 plays later Lukas Gumble took it from 6 yards out to give the Lions a 27-0 lead over Dunmore with 8:03 left in the half

The Bucks would finally get on the board in just a little more than a minute later when two big connections from Thomas Bowen to Danny Pigga set up the Bowen 1-yard touchdown run cutting the lead down to 20 as the Lions still led 27-7 with 7:07 left in the half.

Issac Ryon once again set up the Lions with great field position setting up the Lions’ next score. It took the Lions just 7 plays to find the endzone when Steven Jervis took it in from 2 yards out to give the Lions a 33-7 lead as they went into the half.

The Struggles would continue for the Bucks late in the third quarter when a bad snap on a punt would set up the Lion’s first and goal from the 1-yard line. A play later Hunter Patterson found the endzone to give the Lions a 40-7 lead with 3:50 remaining in the third.

The Bucks would find the endzone late in the quarter when Thomas Bowen hit Danny Pigga in the back of the endzone with 45 seconds left cutting the lead down 40-14 as we headed into the fourth quarter.

The Lions found the endzone one last time about 3 minutes into the quarter when Demetrius Douglas took it in from a yard out to give the Lions a 40-14 lead with 9:42 remaining in the game.

The Bucks would muster up one more score with 4:38 left in the game when Brayden Canavan connected with Logan Miller from 20 yards out as the scoreboard now read Lackawanna Trail 46, Dunmore 21.
