Crestwood head coach Ryan Arcangeli says “All Matt needed was an opportunity his junior year. When it came, he took full advantage. This game changer defensively took our team to new heights and was a key part to our playoff success. Tall, long defensive back and wide receiver that creates matchup issues offensively and his length helps him cover ground defensively. A quiet all business coachable leader that is poised for a huge senior year.”


What are your thoughts on last year’s District Championship and run to the State Semifinals? “It was a great experience for myself and the team. It was really nice to see those results after all the hard work we put in before the season.”

What are your goals for this season? “The goal for this season is to win another District Championship and to keep building a winning tradition at Crestwood.”

Who is the best player you’ve gone up against? “Rico Scott from Bishop McDevitt”

Who is your biggest role model? “My dad is my biggest role model because he has taught me so many things and he has been my biggest supporter through all the ups and downs.”

What is your favorite football memory? “Winning the District Championship this past year in the snow”

Favorite Sports Movie? “The Blind Side”

Favorite Team? “New England Patriots”

Favorite TV Show? “Stranger Things”
