Why do you play football?
I play football because I’ve always had an obsession with the game since I was in 1st grade. I love the feel of competition at every practice, game, and the brotherhood created with all my teammates. I also play football because I enjoy the training aspect with the weight training and agility training. I feel that it is very important to be involved with football and my team on and off the field so I can better succeed and continue my football career to compete with highly skilled players.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
One of my favorite sports movies is Adam Sandler’s “The Longest Yard.” The movie is really funny but it teaches you to learn to make the best of a situation. When the inmates are practicing for the big game against the guards, the guards flooded their field but instead of not practicing they made the best of it and had a great practice. The team didn’t really trust Crew in the movie, but later they end up being friends and win the game
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
My most embarrassing sports moment is my pee-wee season when I was in 4th grade. My team had not won a game yet or scored any touchdowns all season. One of our last games, I had the ball running for the end zone with no one near me. I didn’t make it because I tripped over my own feet just short of the goal line. My dad still brings this story up today.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I like to go fishing with my friends/family mostly because I am an outdoors person. I like to explore new spots to fish. Also I like the competition my friends and I have to see who can catch more. My friends and I like shooting hoops outside or hiking around new areas.
