When your team is on offence:
Offensively, Hempfield plans to rely on their senior captain quarterback Cam Harbaugh. Cam is a playmaker with his arm and legs. Additionally, Cam has options to throw to as wide receiver is a position of depth for the black knights. The running back position will be a position of question as there are several candidates competing to take over for Tanner Hess with senior Evan Smith being the favorite going into the season.

When your team is on Defense:
Defensively, Hempfield has more experience than meets the eye. Although only one starter is returning, several players saw significant time last year. Hempfield is confident they are a better defense than last year as a normal off-season helped players understand the 3-4 scheme.

Special teams play is an important part of the game plan for Hempfield. Solid special teams can help a young defense while also setting up the offense for success. The kicking game will be taken over by Cannon Biscoe who is the brother of Colgate commit Spencer Biscoe who had the kicking duties last year.
