Coach Giillen says “Nate will be a two way starter for us this season. He is extremely versatile defensively and is able to play half field coverage on a hash as well as be physical against the run in the box. Offensively he is explosive in the passing game and can create big plays with the ball in his hands”.

Why do you play football?
I play football because I love the excitement, disappointment, and joy it has brought me. It has allowed me to bond with people, make friends and be apart of a family.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
On game day the thing I’m looking forward to the most is just being on the field and being able to play the sport I love with people who I grew up with.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
My favorite sports star would have to be Kenny Pickett because I’m a huge Steeler fan and he’s fun to watch.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
A favorite player I remember the most is Troy Polamalu, because he was just everywhere on the field and the players he made were amazing.
What was last years season like for you?
Last year’s season was like a roller coaster. It had its ups and downs. I had a great season and loved playing with that team, but it didn’t end the way we wanted it to.
What are your goals for this coming season?
The goals for this upcoming season is for the team to get a district title, and hopefully a state title.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Easily the best player I ever lined up against was Nyckoles Harbor . He was at one of our camps and we had to scrimmage his team.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
I think the Penn State stadium would definitely be a crazy place to have a game.
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
My favorite pro team is definitely any Pittsburgh team Steelers pirates and penguins.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My favorite game I watched was watching Pitt upset Clemson and this is my favorite because it shows you any team can beat any team.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
I would pick the replacements because it’s just a good movie to watch and is very entertaining.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
They’re usually yelling at me to be more aggressive and make the play.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
One thing I would love to do in football is catching Hell Mary touchdown for the win.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My mentor is definitely my brother because growing up I watched him play high school football and he just inspired me to work hard and give it everything I got.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Definitely, my most embarrassing sports moment is in my sophomore season me, and this other kid went to make a tackle and got hurtled.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
Definitely my brother he always gives me a hard time but he cheers for me and wants the best for me.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
My go to activity is working out I love being in shape and love moving weight around.
What is your favorite football memory to date?
My favorite football memory is when our kicker hit a last second field goal to win the game and make sure we make it to playoffs.
What is your favorite play to run?
My favorite play to run is Sluggo, which is a slant and go and it works every time.
What scares you the most?
Spiders and snakes, absolutely scare the crap out of me.

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
My favorite gift I got was a brand new hockey stick. It was my favorite because I loved playing hockey and it was a really nice stick.
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
A restaurant I love to go to is Arooga’s
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Hawaii
