Although Jake Williams is largely under recruited due to missing nearly all of his sophomore year, he is a running back that will be on a lot of radars in 2023. After finishing his 2022 season with over 1800 yards rushing and being the LL Section 4 Back of the year, he will capitalize a strong off season of work and explode again next year. He has elite level burst and acceleration as well as outstanding vision and change of direction. He is a break away threat on every play. Off the field he is a high character young man and a die hard worker who has outstanding weight room strength.
Why do you play football?
I’ve grown up with my brothers playing the game and i love the people involved.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Travis Etienne because i love how hard he runs and how humble he is.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
my freshman year i returned a blocked field goal for a touchdown and everyone was a very hyped.
What was last years season like for you?
Very fun time with my friends
What are your goals for this coming season?
Have the team make playoffs
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
J’ven williams from Wyomssing.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Washington Huskies
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
None
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Me and my brothers got to go on the sidelines at Hershey park stadium to watch Micah Parsons play when he was at Harrisburg.
Describe what the perfect teammate is
Someone who holds you accountable, has your back, and loves you all at the same time.
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
I think it really brings kids together and really makes you a better man.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Block a punt
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
I’d say my uncle Jimmy who is a pastor because he really values his faith and family first in his life.

I’d say my two older brothers because they always kept me positive through good and the bad.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Long boarding and watching sunset with friends.
What is your favorite football memory to date?
My freshman year we won the first playoff game in 20 years at elco at home and i got to do it with my older brother.
