LET’S GET TO KNOW CHRISTOPHER

Why do you play football?

I was put into the sport at a young age, my dad is the reason I play football. He coached me for the first couple years of my football career when I lived in Baltimore. I have always played quarterback and worn the number 14 because that is the number and position my dad plays and wears. My dad is the reason I have the love for the game, this game has giving me a connection with my dad that anyone could dream of and it has made me and him very close. Football is more than a game to me, it’s my life and it’s the only way I know how to function. This game has given me so many opportunities in life that I never knew I would get to experience. This game has shown me that you must work for what you want because it isn’t going to be handed to you, you have to be willing to take the pain and do all of the little things right, because if you want to succeed in this sport you have to be willing to do whatever it takes.

It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?

Playing that game that I love and seeing my family and to see the stands filled to the top to cheer the lions on to a victory

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Tom Brady, because when nobody believed in him he didn’t care he worked his butt off and made all of the people that didn’t believe in him look stupid. He showed me that whatever you want in life you will have to work for it and when you get your opportunity in life to make the most of that because you never know when it will be your last.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play would be in the first game against Epherta, it was the start of the second drive and my coach called a play with a man to man route. So when I called the play it was my first look and it was open so with my first ever varsity pass attempt I completed a 67yrd touchdown pass to give my team the lead.

What was last years season like for you?

It was a great experience, I learned a lot and my coach’s were there for me if I need anything. Last year was my first ever Tim roosting varsity and in the beginning it was nervous but towards the end the game started to slow down and I really started to understand to true roll of a quarterback and what it will take to be a leader.

What are your goals for this coming season?

I want to take my team to the playoffs, break the schools passing touchdown record, and break the schools passing yards record.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Isaac Ernest

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

I would love to go to a university of Michigan game

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

My favorite NFL team is the ravens and NCAA would be the university of Michigan

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

My favorite game was when we played Dallastown. This is because we won the rival series and the game 44-30, I threw for 100% completion and 2 touchdowns

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Remember the titans, because this movie shows you how your team is more than teammates and people that go to your school, your team is your second family they are your brothers and it shows you how you can create a bond with your team

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

Good job or calm down

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Catch a touchdown

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My mentor is my dad because he is the man that I look up to everyday, my dad has done so much for me in my life that I could never repay him back for. He has shown me what a real man should be like and he has tight me how to raise a family and how to play the game I love the most football.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:

Golf

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

Throwing my first varsity interception

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My siblings because they have never missed a football game of mine and they have always been by my side through my football career
