LET’S GET TO KNOW EVAN

Why do you play football?

I have always loved the game of football. My family has always been involved in the sport, whether it’s relatives playing or even my own dad coaching, I have been around the game.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Russell Wilson, and Kyler Murray, because they prove you can play at the highest level no matter your size.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My very first snap of my high school career, we were playing at home against garden spot. After watching film our offense knew how their defense would play us, so we decided to go deep the first play of the game. Former twin valley receiver (and berks counties all time receiving leader) Trey Freeman caught a post over the middle and went 70 yards to the end zone.

What was last years season like for you?

I felt we had a good season, the farthest and longest the school has made it for football, but I feel we always could’ve improved.

What are your goals for this coming season?

I feel as a team our goals are to play together and continue to get better every week. Together we return plenty of guys so I feel our goals are set high.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Rico Scott from McDevitt, who previously just committed to Alabama.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

Beaver stadium, because it’s my home state school and it always has the best atmosphere.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Sixers

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

The 2013 iron bowl, everything about the game is what makes a football game great, and had a once in a lifetime ending.

What would you do to improve the recruiting process?

Continue to reach out to colleges and coaches as well as continue to attend camps and visits.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

Someone who is always there to pick you up and keep your head high, the perfect teammates always put themselves after the team.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Return a kick.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My parents because everyday they try to be better than the day before.

Preseason Two a Days are:

Long and tiring, but are what makes the team better at the end. Without two a days we wouldn’t be the team we are now.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My grandmother. She is at every game no matter the distance or the day, you can always catch her in the stands and waiting for me after the game.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Video games, I feel it’s a great way to relax and enjoy time with your friends who may not be with you.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Our first home playoff game against Milton Hershey, where the lights went out pregame so we warmed up in the dark and at the end of the day got the Win.

What is your favorite play to run?

Any pass play, because I love to throw the ball.

is a hot dog a sandwich?

Yes

Music of choice:

Lil baby

Which one? Sheetz or Wawa

Sheetz

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Outerbanks
