Coach says “Guner Hiller was a critical piece of the offensive and defensive lines last season. Guner has been very committed in the off season and has shown great leadership while improving his athleticism and technique. Cedar Cliff will be looking for Guner to take the next step to be a dominant force on both sides of the line of scrimmage”.

Why do you play football?
I’ve been playing since I was 4 years old and I want to play in college, I also love winning and hitting
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
I would say Quentin Nelson because I try to replicate my game off his.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
yes, against palmyra last year our rb erik was 5 yards out from a touchdown and he had 3 other dudes on him and I grabbed him and dragged him into the endzone.
What was last years season like for you?
It’s been great, the last two seasons went by super quick but I do miss all of the seniors i’ve played with and I can’t wait to lead the team now.
What are your goals for this coming season?
I want to make the Big 33 team
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Riley Robel Mcdevit my sophomore year
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
I would definitely love to travel to seattle and watch one of the seahawks games.
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
seattle seahawks
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
I’m not sure what year it was but me and my mom watched Ohio State at Maryland when they went to overtime the atmosphere was crazy and Ohio State ended up winning
What would you do to improve the recruiting process?
I mean it’s been going great right now but if i had to improve something I would say visiting more colleges
Describe what the perfect teammate is
Someone who has your back but also can hold you accountable
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
Game days become these big events where people can come together, catch up with neighbors, and just have a total blast cheering on their team. Win or lose, it creates this amazing sense of unity. And the players become role models that kids look up to, which is so valuable. Football programs also provide tons of opportunities for young people to learn teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Run the ball on the 1 yard line😂
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My dad has always been my biggest role model and mentor, even though his job keeps him traveling and on the road constantly. No matter where he is or how hectic his schedule gets, he never misses my games or the important events in my life. That’s just how my dad is – completely devoted to being there and supporting me, no matter what. On the road or not, he finds a way to be present and involved. He’ll call me from hundreds of miles away just to check in, offer fatherly advice, and remind me he’s proud.
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
My favorite practice drill got to be half line Scully and my least favorite are mirror drills
Preseason Two a Days are:
a pain but it’s also a great time for the team to come as one
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
I wouldn’t be able to just pick one, my whole family is great they all support me there best
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
fishing there isn’t a good day not to fish
What is your favorite football memory to date?
To be honest just chilling and and getting ready with my teammates before games it’s where we all become brothers
What is your favorite play to run?
just straight power down the other teams throat

There back, it’s something that football gives you like no other sport and the bonds you make are like no other
