What was the high point of the 2023 season?
The high point of our season was after week 10 when we beat Spring Grove to secure a home playoff game. We finished the second half of the season going 5-0 to lock in a spot in district playoffs.
What was the low point of the 2023 season?
After week 5 when we had a rough start to our season when we were sitting 2-3 and we knew it could’ve been a lot better.
What are your personal goals for the 2024 season?
My personal goals for the 2024 season are to throw for at least 1800 yards and 25 touchdowns.
What goals will you set for your team this season?
Our team is hoping to achieve the best possible record as I’m sure every other team is. We are putting in a lot of work this off-season to go out there and compete for a District Title.
Who is the best player you have faced in a game along with the team he played for?
My sophomore year we played against Jahiem White from York High.
Which game are you looking forward to the most this season? Explain
I am looking forward to playing New Oxford this year week 3. Last year we had a rough game against them and they beat us pretty badly because we were not playing fundamentally sound football. I want to go out there my senior year and bring the win home.
What is the toughest part of playing quarterback?
The toughest part about playing Quarterback is having to make sure that everybody is calm and under control while also making sure you know everybody’s assignments so that the Offense can function well.
What is the most rewarding part of being the quarterback?
The most rewarding part about playing Quarterback is when everything comes together. I work all year studying coverages, studying reads and when you get out on the field and everything just falls into place it’s very rewarding.
What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?
I think my biggest moment as an athlete so far was this year when we won our first district game since 2011.
What has been your most embarrassing moment as an athlete in any sport?
When I was running out onto the field next to my running back I tripped and fell.
If you could add one team to your team’s schedule, who would it be and why?
It would be Hanover because I know a lot of kids from that school and they are 10 minutes away from us.
It’s fourth and five, from the five with five seconds left in the game, and you need the touchdown to win the game. What play are you calling?
I’m calling a fake fade comeback to the pylon because it is unstoppable if the timing is right.
What is the one food you refuse to eat?
I will not eat Brussels Sprouts.
Have you ever been to a Buffalo Bisons game?
No, I have not.
Who is your favorite athlete?
My favorite athlete is Justin Herbert. I have always been an Oregon fan and love what he is doing in the NFL.
