WORDS FROM THE HEAD COACH:

Bennett will be a three-year starter for us at the QB position. He has a great understanding of the offense and what we are trying to accomplish with our scheme in the run and pass games. Bennett will be asked to make a number of reads and adjustments at the line of scrimmage this year that most high school QBs do not make. Bennett has exceptional arm strength and I am excited to see what he will accomplish his senior season.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Cedar Ciff High School ?
The best part about being a Student-Athlete at Cedar Cliff is getting recognized by the school for great achievements and having a great community that supports us.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I have been playing football for 9 years.

What is it like having a brother playing on the same team ?
My brother is 2 years younger than me, it is awesome being able to play with him. We both push each other to get better and it is great having him by my side in both baseball and football.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Bishop McDevitt probably had the best atmosphere. Their stands were filled and they had a loud band and student section.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
If the game was on the line I would want to be on defense because, I trust my defense and we have a lot of guys that can make big plays.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
My biggest achievement as an athlete is winning the 6a Baseball District Championship in 2023.

What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
The highest point of the 2023 football season was making it to the District Semifinals.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
I’m going to miss the brotherhood we created from the class of 2024.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
My favorite sports star is Mike Trout because I love his passion for the game and his work ethic to get better every day.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
My favorite play was my first touchdown pass to my brother last year against Mifflin County.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
The best player I have lined up against was Riley Robell from Bishop Mcdevitt.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I would like to go to a Philadelphia Eagles game.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies are my two favorite sports teams.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
My favorite game I’ve ever watched was the Rams vs Chiefs because it was a very high scoring game and it was very competitive.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
The movie Hustle because it shows how anything can happen if you put in the effort and time into your sport. Also it shows how to work against adversity.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I would love to catch a touchdown pass.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Golf but, it is during football season.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
My most embarrassing sports moment is when I threw a pick-six against Hershey my Sophomore year.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
My favorite activity outside of baseball and football is Golfing with my friends and my dad.

Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, because it is close and I’m always going there with my friends.

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
My favorite place to go on vacation is Sarasota, Florida.

Snakes

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
Chipotle

Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
I’ve been to multiple Philadelphia Phillies games.

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
I think the best league is NCAAF because it is very competitive and the games are very fun to watch.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
MLB The Show

What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
I only like cheese pizza.

Drake

Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
Airplane to Florida.

Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
I would like to get a 4.0 or above in school.

Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
I would like to live on an island, because I like going to the beach.
