Leo is an extremely hard worker who possess tremendous size at 6’5, 291lbs. He will anchor our offensive line this year and wants to play college football at the next level.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Hempfield High School ?
Seeing the reactions of the other students after a win and all the talk on Monday once we’re back in school.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
3 years, this year will be my 4th.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Dallastown has a great atmosphere because, when we walk up to the stadium for game time, we walk through the crowds of people and the stands with everyone watching us walk in, it gets me excited for game time.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ?
Offense, because that’s where you score and with the team we have, I believe that we could make it happen.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Getting that first offer.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
The teammates I made through the years.

What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
Section 1 Champions, District Champions and Lineman of the Week.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Sidney Crosby, he’s one of the greatest hockey players around and he really changed the game of hockey.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
Aiden Schomp from Cedar Crest, he’s a tall guy and a great football player.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Penn State

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ?
Steelers

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Greater

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Pickup a fumble and score a touchdown.

Hockey or Baseball

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
I don’t remember what team we were playing, but the guard and I were pulling and the opposing team cut us as we were pulling so we got tripped.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Hanging out with the people I’m close to.

Sheetz, Wawa is not it.

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
The mountains in western PA.

If you were handed a lot of money, what would be the first thing you would do with it ?
Definitely give back to my family, I feel like I owe a lot to them.

Spiders

Definitely Burger King, they have the best burgers and best fries for a fast food place.

Multiple Steelers home games and a Penguins game.

NHL, because of the conflict between the players.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
Any of the NHL games.

Just pepperoni and cheese.

Mountains, because of the nature and the calmness of the surroundings with nobody around.
