WORDS FROM THE HEAD COACH:

Offense: QB. 2023 Stats-127-229 (54.2%) for 2,006 yards (17.4 average yards). 23 TD’s. 7 INT’s. 1 -2point conversion. 19 carries, 80 yards, 1 TD. Team Captain. Second year starter. Has really improved is footwork and arm strength. Student of the game. Directs our offense vey well. Smart football player. Set school record with 5 TD passes in a game. 2nd Team L/L League Section 5 QB. Plays Baseball also.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Schuylkill Valley High School ?
Building the connections with my teammates and coaches.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
10 years

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Hamburg in 2022, it set a record with the amount of people. We were not expected to win and we did.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain
Offense, because I want to have control.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Playing varsity QB my Sophomore year.

What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
When we went to Annville-Cleona and secured our spot of the section title.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
The leadership and just not having my teammates back is going to be difficult.

What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
To win the division out right and to make a run far into playoffs.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Baker Mayfield, I like watching how competitive he is and like his play style.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
The final play of the Upper Perkiomen game, we were down by a touchdown and we had a last second touchdown to win the game.

Ryker Jones, Wyomissing

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I want to visit the Big House, Michigan University, since they are my favorite team and it is such an iconic stadium.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
Phillies, I have always enjoyed watching them since I was a kid.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
The Annville-Cleona game to win the division, I got to watch the defense make a stand to win us the game.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Remember the Titans, it has a lot of meaning and I don’t think I would get tired of it.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Catching a touchdown would be cool.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Pickleball is very fun but I am not great at it.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
Throwing an interception on the first drive of the season.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Other than watching sports, I enjoy hanging out with my friends.

Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, it’s very close to where I live and I think it has the best food.

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
Outer Banks, North Carolina

Snakes

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
Five Guys, I like the burger but the fries make it the best.

Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
I have gone to a lot of Phillies games and I have been to a Steelers game.

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
I think college football because everyone is trying their hardest to make to the NFL. Some of the other leagues the players just like the money.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
For mobile I like Clash Royal and for console I enjoy playing Madden.

What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Plain cheese pizza is my go to.

Boat to go deep sea fishing.

Outside a city where I am close to big things but not living in a very crowded place.
