COACH SAYS: Dustin has had a huge season last year after rebounding from a season ending injury as a sophomore. He has worked to become the strongest player on our team and he is the unquestioned leader of the 2025 Mountaineers.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete for the Mountaineers ?
I get to enjoy the experience of learning from all the teachers who also come out and support me.
Why do you play football ?
Because I love it, I love working hard as a team, I love making plays, I love the work I have to put in, and I just love the feeling of community and character it gives me.
How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
This will be my 7th year.
It’s GameDay !! What are you looking forward to the most ?
I am looking forward to getting out on the field right before the game to see the crowd in the stands and the community we have behind us.
Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Exeter was one of the best, the hill in the end zone for people to sit made it seem fuller.
If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
Defense, stopping the movement and crushing the offense with the game on the line is the best way to go off the field.
As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
Helping my team last year to recover from a rocky start and getting close to a play off birth.
What was the high point of the 2024 season ?
Beating our long time rival Manheim Central for the first time in over 20 years.
What are your goals for the 2025 season ?
This year I want to make the playoffs as a team and for myself, record over 110 tackles.
What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2025 ?
I am going to miss the fun we are able to have together, on the field we could be serious, but everyone knew how to make each other laugh.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like the most, and why ?
The person I want to be most like is my dad, he always knows how to stay calm at life even when it’s hard, he taught me everything I know about being a man.
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
My favorite sports star is Brian Dawkins, I love the terror he would strike into an offense with his hits and mentality.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
My favorite play, against Governor Mifflin, all three of the inside linebackers made into the backfield to get a TFL on the running back.
Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
Logan Wegman from Exeter, Jayden Johnson from CV, and Michael Scott from Dallastown.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
Obviously I would have to say Beaver Stadium, every time I’ve been it’s been electric no matter the opponent.
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
The Eagles, I love the mentality of the fans and team, that it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks we will do our own thing.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
The Eagles And Chiefs Super Bowl in 2023. Even though they lost the Eagles gave everything and it was the best game of football I’ve ever watched.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Woodlawn, I love the message that follows about God creating unity and how he can put people in places to do great things for him.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
Play in a national championship.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
Against Muhlenberg, I had a wide open touchdown and had the ball barely nip my fingers because I didn’t run under it enough.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
Spike-ball, I love playing with my friends and having a great time being active.
Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Sheetz, I think it has the most variety and locations that I can think of.
What is your favorite vacation destination ?
I love going to the beach, it’s always relaxing going down and playing in the waves.
If you were handed a lot of money, what would be the first thing you would do with it ?
I would buy my family new cars.
Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
I have a fear of not being able to accomplish what I believe I can.
Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
McDonald’s, me and my friends always go there together whenever we want a quick dinner.
Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
Yes, Phillies, Orioles, and Yankees.

NFL, it’s the most entertaining sport on the planet played with best athletes on the planet.

Ghost of Tsushima

I would like to create a multi-million dollar company.

I would say an area that has mountains and the beach like the Carolinas.
