Coaches comments: “Cody is two-year two-way returning starter. He has had an impact on this program since his sophomore year. He is just a tough hard-nosed athlete that keeps coming at you. Cody is looking forward to a great senior year and leading his team back into contention. He is getting interest from some Division 2 and 3 programs at this time.”

Why do you play football?
I play football because i’ve been watching manheim football from whejnI was younger and have been in the program my whole life
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
My favorite sports star is TJ watt because he plays for my favorite team the Steelers
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My favorite play was catching a touchdown my sophomore year against Susquehanna Township
What was last years season like for you?
It was fun but ended with a lot of injuries
What are your goals for this coming season?
Some of my goals are getting back into district playoffs again and winning the section title
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Rico Scott
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
One of my favorite games was playing Mcdevitt in the district finals my sophomore year
Describe what the perfect teammate is
A perfect team mate is someone who shows leadership on and off the field
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
I think football is good for a community because it brings a whole town together and it’s a lot of fun when the whole town comes out for games
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Play in the state championship game
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My mentor is my coaches because they set a good example on and off the field and teach us more than just football
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
My favorite practice drills are hitting drills and my least favorite are running sprints

Fun to be around your teammates
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
I would say my grandparents because they are at every game they can make and always support me
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Video games and Bowling because they are fun
What is your favorite play to run?

I would say encourage from upperclassmen and lots of knowledge about the game

The first football game i saw was a Steelers playoff game
