Why do you play football?
I play football because it gives me a great opportunity to socialize with my friends but also compete and get better at something every single day. It feels very rewarding to be able to go into a game on a Friday and feel like I actually get better every week.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
I love the energy from the team right before we walk out and onto the field and it just really gives an adrenaline rush and is a great experience.

My favorite sports player is Baker Mayfield. I love the way he plays and he always brings the energy and is also a great footballl player.

What was last years season like for you?
Last years season was really a big learning experience for me. Since it was my first year starting, my first few games were pretty slow, but I fell I really picked up the pace by the middle of the season. I kept feeding off that energy and our team kept doing really good as we finished 8-2 in the regular season. Unfortunately, we lost in the second round of the district playoffs, and I’ve been spending my offseason preparing to be able to get back to that point and get even further.
What are your goals for this coming season?
I really want the team this year to win the section as well as the district. Some personal goals for me is 1st team all state at defensive end.

I lined up against a defensive lineman committed to UMass when we played Trinity.

I would like coach Dan Campbell to call in a play. He is always able to think of something tricky that can throw the defense off.

I would love to visit Clemson’s Death Valley for one game
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
I would love to watch the movie Greater. It is a great story about defying the odds and really illustrates that you can do anything that you put your mind to. But, the ending of the story really teaches to not take any opportunities for granted and to really live life to the fullest.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My parents won’t typical yell at me, but they would likely just be cheering me on.
