Coach Says: Griffin is a complete player that we are super excited about. He’s a returning starter at Free Safety who was a ball hawk for us. He’s a high IQ player who plays with anticipation and range. Griffin showed great speed development this spring in Track and Field and will see time on offense this year as well as in the secondary. He was peer selected to the Leadership Council and is an AP level student in the classroom as well as a three sport athlete.
Why do you play football?
It’s a great sport that teaches many life lessons and skills

Celebrating with the team after a win
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Kawhi Leonard because he pushed through lots of adversity to be in the position he is today. He also keeps his head down and works hard
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
I had a punt return for a touchdown freshman year (which was unfortunately called back due to a flag). It’s my favorite play because right after I scored my brother ran into the end zone and tackled me in celebration.
What was last years season like for you?
It was a good year even though it had many ups and downs for me personally
What are your goals for this coming season?
Winning a district and state championship

Philadelphia 76ers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Indiana vs Miami in the national championship because at the beginning of the year no one expected Indiana to win and it was great football that was played.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, because it’s hilarious and a classic
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
