Last weekend Central Dauphin was on the painful end of a rare season opening loss by the score of 31-6.  Last NIGHT, Timmy Smith ran for 217 yards on 17 carries with 3 TDs to lead the Rams in handing Berks Catholic a rare early season loss. Smith started the game with a 56 yard run on the first series of the game. Smith had touchdown runs of 2, 47 and 16 yards.

As good as the Ram ofense was, the defense was even better.  The CD defense held Abdul MacFoy in check and forced three 3-and-outs in the first half.  The Rams opened up a 24-0 at halftime before surrendering a 4 yard td to MacFoy in the fourth.  For the game, Berks Catholic was held to under 60 yards rushing and 105 yards of net offense.  Berks Catholic starter Bradley Hoffman was back in the lineup after missing last week with a shoulder injury.
