Cedar Crest quarterback Jackson Custer threw two td pass and Isaiah Zimmerman ran for a score, all in the first quarter, and the Falcons soared from there on the way to a 58-7 win over the Comets.
It took a few minutes but once the scoring started the Comets couldn’t stop the flow. Cedar Crest took a 7-0 lead when Zimmerman carried the ball over the goal line with 7:30 left in the first quarter.

Custer followed that up with a 6 yard keeper for a td. On the ensuing Comet drive Luke Oriel picked off Connor Smeigh and the Falcons were back in business at the Comet 35. Custer found Jack Waranavage for a 35 yard score to make it 21-0 with 25 seconds left in the first. Penn Manor managed their only score of the night on the next play when Smeigh hit Collin Robinson on the last play of the quarter for a 74 yard td. It was all Comets from there. Josh Tricoche scored from a yard out, Waranavage hauled in his second td of the night for a 63 yard pitch and catch to make it 35-7. A bad snap on a punt attempt went out of the endzone for a Comet safety and Cameron Tirado scored from a yard out to give Cedar Crest a 44-7 lead at the break.
