District III 3A Playoff Game
Annville-Cleona Dutchmen (7-4) @ Wyomissing Spartans (11-0)

Wyomissing was nearly perfect on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. They score nine touchdowns in nine possessions. They did miss one of their conversions. The Spartans rolled up over 500 yards in total offense most of it on the ground. They controlled the game and the clock all day. They had eight rushing touchdowns by five players.
Annville scored on four of its ten possessions. The Dutchmen offense struggled all day but was able to get the occasional big play. They had three touchdown passes of over sixty-five yards. They tried a number of gadgets plays, some of which worked and some didn’t. Tuhey would line up Quamir Parker or Caden Horning outside the huddle like Army’s Bill Carpenter. They would wait in the huddle until ten seconds left on play clock, then rush to the line and try drawing the Spartans offside. They faked a punt and threw a halfback option. In the end it wasn’t enough.
