Eastern York Dominates York Suburban

WRIGHTSVILLE, PA – Eastern York found success over York Suburban in a YAIAA division II matchup, winning the game 27-0.

The Knights took their first trip to the endzone after Lennox Golder ran a blocked field goal for 80 yards and a touchdown, putting them up 7-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Then, with 12.9 seconds left in the first half, Quinn Bramble threw a pass to Landon Englehart for a 44 yard touchdown, putting them up 14-0 at the half.

In the third, Eastern York added 6 more on a 15 yard passing play from Quinn Bramble to Ethan Sgrignoli, making it 20-0 at the end of the quarter.

Quinn Bramble scored his third of the night off a 4 yard passing play to Landon Allison, making the final score 27-0.

With the win, Eastern York advances to 6-3, putting them in 7th place and giving them a better chance at a spot in the District 3, 4A playoffs. They play away at undefeated division rival New Oxford next week. With the loss, York Suburban falls to 2-7 and hosts Northeastern next week.
