Sy Burgos carries for an East Pennsboro Touchdown.
On a rainy night at John Gross Field at East Pennsboro High School, Devin Shepard scored 4 touchdowns and Sy Burgos added two more as East Pennsboro trounced Mechanicsburg 43-0.
Three turnovers on the first three possessions put Mechanicsburg (5-5 overall, 2-4 division) in a 20-0 hole by the end of the first quarter, and the Panthers added another score before halftime to make the score 26-0 at the break.
Shepard, a junior, had 84 yards on 11 carries. Senior Burgos ran 12 times for 32 yards. LB Trey Good added 2 interceptions.
Junior RB Sage Thomas ran for 46 yards on 12 carries for the Wildcats.
