
Susquehanna Township Stays Perfect, Dominates Big Spring 42–12 to Move to 8–0

Susquehanna Township continued their historic run Friday night, defeating Big Spring 42–12 to improve to 8–0, marking the best start in program history. The Indians showcased balance on both sides of the ball, combining explosive offense with lockdown defense to remain the only unbeaten team in their conference.
The first strike came early when quarterback Torin Evans connected with Zik’here Leaks in the end zone to open the scoring. Just a few drives later, Senior Xavier Rivera powered his way into the end zone with 10:55 left in the second quarter, extending Hanna’s lead.
Momentum continued to swing Susquehanna’s way when Steph Mallet recovered a Big Spring fumble, but the Indians couldn’t capitalize in the red zone. Big Spring’s Jordan Myers found the end zone with just 26 seconds left in the half, but a missed field goal kept the score at Susquehanna 14, Big Spring 6 heading into halftime.
The second half was all Hanna. Senor Rakhi Seville runs for 7 yards coming out the half, securing the first score for the Susquehanna Indians. Senior Jarrett Kern bulldozed his way through defenders, showing his offseason strength with a statement touchdown run that made it 33–6. Quarterback Torin Evans followed with a highlight 42-yard rushing touchdown to put the game completely out of reach at 42–6.
Big Spring’s Cord Hetrick (#28) added a late touchdown, but the outcome was already sealed.
Final score: Susquehanna Township 42, Big Spring 12.
With the win, Susquehanna remains undefeated heading into Week 8, continuing a record-breaking season that has fans and players believing this could be a year to remember.
